RD ANF Balochistan played its role effectively and contributed towards the national objective of excluding Pakistan from FATF Grey List by achieving 2 x convictions in entire ANF in cases registered under AMLA provisions.
FUNCTIONS
- Drafting and processing of legal matters
- Supervision / Monitoring of prosecution
- Rendition of legal advice to all ANF Police Stations
- Processing of appeals in Criminal matters, Service matters and Writ Petitions
- Appear before honorable High Court and Supreme Court on behalf of ANF
- Scrutiny of judgments and rendition of legal advice for filing of appeals before High Court and Supreme Court of Pakistan

FUNCTIONS OF THE FORCE UNDER SECTION 5 ANF ACT 1997
- Inquire into, investigate and prosecute all offences relating to, or connected with preparation, production, manufacture, transportation illicit trafficking or smuggling of intoxicant, narcotics and chemical precursors or reagents used in the manufacture of drugs
- Trace and freeze the assets of accused persons derived from narcotics smuggling
- Provide assistance to other agencies on all matters related with narcotics
- Maintain liaison with all national or international narcotics authorities
- Arrange and coordinate training of own staff and members of other Law Enforcement Agencies
- Eliminate and destruction of poppy cultivation
